Peace Protectors

Ages 3-5

A caregiver and me workshop in partnership with Mr. Nature, voted Tucson’s Best Children’s Entertainer 2023, to guide you on a lyrical journey through the five senses. Throughout this interactive, play-based, musical series, children are introduced to the functions of the nervous system, stress management techniques, and calm down strategy integration through songs. Caregivers join their child in this collaborative exploration of co-regulation, the importance of finding techniques that work for them, and learning to protect their inner peace.

You don’t want to miss out on this fun opportunity to build a strong social emotional foundation with your child!

Nervous System Ninjas

Ages 6-11

This series builds over a four week span through hour-long sessions once a week. It is designed as an experience based approach, meaning children engage in trauma informed movements and exercises to embody self regulation techniques through the universal language of play. Students will use their sensory skills, enlist critical thinking, and be guided through present moment attunement of their bodies' innate organizational systems. Children will learn to reduce the intensity of their stress response by beginning to integrate the resources and growth opportunities that are presented throughout the series, into their everyday life. This opens the door for them to become protectors of inner peace, nervous system ninjas, and wisdom warriors.

Wisdom Warriors

COMING FALL 2024

Ages 12-17

In this interactive self discovery series, students will learn the basics of their biological systems of growth and repair while gaining insights into the functions of their nervous systems. Students will engage in hands-on exercises, such as, creative writing and embodying the functions of a firing neuron. Designed to awaken their inner Wisdom Warrior as they build self esteem, body appreciation and find personal expression, with peer group reflections.

Changemaker Art

Ages 5-13

This semester-long series highlights the art of underrepresented cultures, movements, and peacemakers. These art studies serve as an entry point for social emotional learning; priming students for deep inquiry and meaningful dialog. I’ve been fortunate to successfully share this semester-long program for three years at a progressive academy. Each semester I’m deeply moved by the finale of our time together, where students have the opportunity to exhibit their art and proudly teach us about subjects ranging from Black History Month to Earth Science, while sharing all they’ve learned about social emotional wellness in the process.

“My whole family has benefited from Lynette’s wisdom and coaching. My youngest enjoyed her Nervous System Ninjas class and then when she needed some support sleeping alone, Lynette had a play session with her and the most beautiful toys while she explored her feelings. Now we are all getting better rest! And, Lynette has been working with my 14 year old son for a few months helping him through a difficult time. He loves working with her! He asks when his next session is and has himself ready 30 minutes early. I’m so grateful for the support and guidance he’s getting at this age when leaning on parents isn’t what we are programed to do and we lack social structures where youth are held by other adults. Lynette is helping to fill that much needed gap. Thank you for all that you do!”
